CAPRIPROOF D produces insoluble hydrophobic deposits in the microscopic pores of the hardened cement
paste, thereby reducing its permeability. The use of CAPRIPROOF D does not alter the appearance or
texture of the concrete. CAPRIPROOF D slightly reduces subsequent cementitious bonding, but permits
the application of paints and other coatings. CAPRIPROOF D is suitable for use in both wet and dry
mix concrete, water structures and helps reduce efflorescence.
